MICHAEL HUSSAR- 2008 FEATURED ARTIST

Micheals artwork is hightly desireable, the following all have collected his incredible artwork.

The U.S. Library of Congress -
Warren Beatty -
Leonardo DiCaprio -
Francis Ford Coppola -

Throughout his years as an artist, Michael Hussar certainly crafted his own unique style and has made a definitive name for himself in the realm of surrealist art.

Although his style usually incorporates a darker theme than the usual west coast “lowbrow” style in which he is typically included, Hussar’s Bizarre and, at times unsettling, images seem to surpass mere labels.

Additionally, the term “lowbrow” does have its downfalls, as some art critics question it as a legitimate art movement.

The term “lowbrow” has also been compared to pop surrealism. Some people consider the terms to be interchangeable. Still, others consider the two terms to refer to two totally different movements. Movements and art critics aside, There is no negating Hussar’s obvious knack for creating images that are both pristine and disturbing.

Michael Hussar was born in Long Beach, California and still works out of Pasadena.
