It’s Not the “Big Top” you Remembered

The Master (Fakir Musafar) and his Student (Allen Faulkner) will leave you awe struck as they transform Studio Z and take us to another part of the world that is seldom seen by human eyes.

Allen Faulkner was one of Fakir Musafar's first apprentices, bringing the two of them back together after so many years will prove to have been a momentous occasion.

Allen Falkner is a founding member of the Association of Professional Piercers, has owned and operated Obscurities since 1992 and is one of the most experienced piercers still working in the industry.

Photography
- Allen is also an internationally published photographer: Obscure Photo "You will notice that some of the images lean a bit more to the extreme. Why? Well, I photograph the world around me....and my world is a very amazing place."

Suspension - Known as the father of modern suspension, Allen and his group TSD, having trained many of the best-known suspension practitioners and organizing some of the biggest public performances, have done more to bring suspension into the mainstream than anyone else out there.

Traumatic Stress Discipline – First organized in 1992

TSD is a collective of suspension practitioners, organized for the research and development of suspension equipment, techniques, protocols and the responsible dissemination of information pertaining to such. The group is best known for large-scale artistic demonstrations, the introduction of advanced mechanics and providing support to fellow suspension groups.

Since 2001, Allen Falkner and TSD have hosted the Texas Suscon, generally considered to be the world's first and definitive annual suspension convention. Information on upcoming Texas Suscons can be found in the forums at Suspension.org. These events draw amazing artists and enthusiasts of all experience levels from all over the world to take part in suspensions and to build up technical and artistic skills.
