Dimitris started mixing with the help of his good friends Thomas and George in 1984 at "Disco Atomic" in Athens Greece. Within 2 years he, and his 2 friends Thomas Katsaros (Sony Music) and George Siras (Kiss FM Athens) took over Athens nightlife getting residencies and bookings at all major nightclubs. Dimitris spent his summers in the Greek islands spinning for the vacationing Europeans. The winters were extremely busy for him between radio stations (Studio 99, Art Fm, Capital 96.5) and nightclubs. After college he joined the Army and spun music in the island that he was stationed at. His popularity grew even more when he was transferred back to Athens with the service, and started spinning at the Athenian nightclubs again. He continued spinning in Greece and in the surrounding European countries until 1991 when he moved to the Bay Area. He entered a turntablism competition at the "Talk of the town " in Vallejo and after received second in the world DMC champion to Q-Bert.

Pleasure Zone Productions, Mixed Elements and Hotel Ibiza were the companies that supported Dimitris. Dimitris consistantly throws some very successful parties on his own, the biggest ones held at Ruby Skye and Hotel Ibiza which attracted 800 to 1,300 people. He developed a large loyal following and a large mailing list. He spun music for Local clubs like 1015 Folsom, Rubie Skye, Ibiza, Decibel, Bass, Snowdrift, Rouge, NV, Forum the list goes on and on. His ability of crossing over different styles of House Music on the fly, has given him the reputation of always having a packed dance floors no matter where he spins. He reads the crowd in a way that only the old school European DJs used to back in the days. He was recently voted as San Francisco's top 10 DJ two year in a row in a poll that was held for three weeks on Nitevibe.
His residencies at Pleasure Zone and Mixed Elements have brought him tremendous success in this highly competitive arena.
